Paranoize 35 is STILL AVAILABLE!
$2.00 ppd.

3/15/2021
Paranoize #50 is off to the printer and the .PDF version is available now. Interviews with Capra (from Lafayette, LA with their debut album out soon on Metal Blade Records), Moments Of Being (from New Orleans! Intense screamo/hardcore) Seared (sick new grindcore band from New Orleans) and Spitfire (NOLA bluesy doomy stoner bass and drum duo!) I originally had a completely different idea for this issue, it being #50 and all, a milestone and whatnot. But at this point I'm just glad to finally have a new issue out!

So, with the pandemic shutting down shows and putting bands in limbo, my band, A Hanging has been on hiatus, so I started a solo grind/noisecore band using a digital recorder that I've had sitting around collecting dust and named it Shitload, In the past year I've put out 40 EPs and splits and become immersed in the international noisecore scene. Check out my idiocy at https://shitload.bandcamp.com

As of March 31, 2021 my website provider (Yahoo) is no longer supporting sites using SiteBuilder, so I don't know what that means for the current version of the site. If they just take it down, then it's been wonderful providing you all with the sights and sounds of the NOLA scene since I figured out how to use the internet! If it is no longer able to be updated, I'll have to figure out how to rebuild the entire friggin' site. If there are loopholes around it, things will just continue as usual.

There are still a few copies of Paranoize #49 available.Interviews with Goura, CIkada and Total Hell!

If you want one delivered to you can order one for $2 via PayPal using the handy dandy buttons to the left, or you can send well-concealed cash to:

Paranoize is a non-profit independent publication based in New Orleans, Louisiana covering metal, sludge, grindcore, stoner rock, hardcore, and other forms of underground music.

Individual issues are free in person, $2.00 through the mail.

Music and non-music related rants, stories, articles, scene reports, and artwork are always welcome for printing consideration. Racist, sexist, and homophobic contributions may be printed, but expect a harsh rebuttal in these pages to follow. Remember that any rants, stories, or articles printed only reflect the opinion of the author and not necessarily the entire staff of Paranoize.

Bands and recording labels may send cassettes (home or studio recorded), vinyl,or compact discs (yes we accept cdrs) for a guaranteed review. Keep in mind that the music reviews are only the opinion of the listener and nothing more. If the person reviewing your music doesn't like what you send and gives it a bad review, just suck it up and get on with your life. If you whine to us we'll just make fun of you.
